The National Ban Spit hoods Coalition was established in 2022.  


We’re a group of people with lived experience and expertise in campaigning around issues of justice. Our members are human rights organisations, legal centres, researchers and academics, and civil society groups. 


We want a future without spit hoods in Australia — everywhere and for everyone.  For a future without spit hoods, we need a legislated ban that covers every setting in every state and territory.
